Ignorance is blissed -
for example: being oblivious to the fact that your best friend is doing your girlfriend

whereas.....

little knowledge is dangerous-
for example: KNOWING that your best friend is doing your girlfriend

It doesn't nessesarily mean both at the same time and this is more of what I think it means. It means that you may be blissful in ignorance but learning just a little knowledge could make it dangerous.

Get it?

Alexander Pope put it this way:

A little Learning is a dang'rous Thing;
Drink deep, or taste not the Pierian Spring:
There shallow Draughts intoxicate the Brain,
And drinking largely sobers us again.

So there is a range all the way from great ignorance to great knowledge. If you know nothing, nothing bothers you. As you start to learn some things, there is the danger of thinking you know more than you do, and trusting your incomplete knowledge too much. But the more you learn, the more you realize that there is so much more to learn, and you tend not to be so liable to get carried away and act without thinking.

To me, it is basically two of the same things put together. Either way you are blissed and in danger.

or as Will Rogers put it:
"It ain't what people don't know that gets them into trouble.
It's what they know that ain't so."
