Male cats will mate with unspayed females. This is actually a form of birth control. Female cats do not ovulate until they breed. They will cycle all year until they have bred. You should get the female spayed. There is a higher risk of some cancers in unspayed cats. And I doubt you need lots of kittens.

Don't be concerned if at least one is neutered. Even if a cat is fixed, it can still go into heat a little. Animals still have a brain and that brain still gives them an instinct to want to mate. I've had cats my whole life and even if they were fixed they still act like they're in heat once in a while. Careful not to let your little girl get out or else that'll defeat the whole purpose of getting your male fixed.

I take my male cat who is neutered as well over to my mothers house for play dates... She has 3 female cats who are not fixed and one of them is always in heat. He mounts them as well, but since they had their manhood taken from them they can not enter the female so dont worry.

My male cat, who was neutered, attempted to "mate" my female who was not spayed while she was in heat.
I think it is just innate behavior. There isn't any way that the female will become impregnated by him...he is just trying to help her out!
Mine did this any time my female was in heat until I got her spayed.
Harmless behavior! :)

No, I really don't think that you should have any problem, as the nature of animals is to mate only for reproductive purposes, or dominance. If the tom cat doesn't have a scrotum he 99% percent of the time wouldn't even think about mating.

Yes, they may still behave sexually even though HE can't reproduce. You might want to consider getting her spayed ASAP because female cats in heat are not only very annoying but they become amazing escape artists.

No.
Nuetering the cat removes the testies so the cat cannot produce sperm.
