a lot about him. I'm not saying I want to get back together with him. I just want to know what he's been up to and stuff. I want to email him but am not sure what to say to him. Please help.

It is normal to think about someone we had in the past, especially as you said, it ended in good terms. Nothing wrong with sending a friendly email, just to say hi and see how he is doing, just as long as you are not doing this with unrealistic expectations. Remember, keep the email short and friendly, nothing more. Go ahead, send that email. Best of luck to you and let us know what happens!!

Well you dated him, you should feel comfortable talking to him.. Just call him up or something and ask how hes been. Tell him you have been thinking about him, maybe be will be interested. But be careful. From my experiences, getting back together with an ex usually doesn't turn out like i thought and things are a lot different.

from experience i must tell you an ex is an ex for a reasonm and usually there is no amount of time that will change that reason so drastcally that you will be able to work things out i say run in the other direction

I felt the same way about my ex..(years ago)
I broke up with him and a year later I called him. I was always thinking about him so I called him...
Which was my closure...and that was that... =)
If you want just call him...you don't have nothing to loose cause you've already lost it.

leave him alone and wait for Mr. Right for yourself. If you get in contact with him and find out that he has a new girl or has even gotten married or is expecting...it'll kill you with the "why not me's"....so don't email him...don't call him....don't drive by....don't do nothing! I'm telling you from experience...don't do it!

Well e-mail him and pretend u r sending it to your friend what I mean is that u put your friends name Dear ?
and say all the things about him and he will known that worked 4 me hope it works for u

Just let him know that you have been thinking of him and let him know what has been going on in your life. Just act like you are writing to an old friend.

I contacted my ex about a year after we split up, and we ended badly!! It was easy, you just act as casual as can be, seeing how life is treating you, etc.
