let the Iranian people focus on an international issue, hereby diverting them from the real problems in Iran (freedom of speech, employment, corruption, social disparities, mass poverty, brutal government)

I think the fact that they kicked out all the inspectors, wont let anyone know what theyre doing and follow by the rules like every other nuclear entity, and the fact that they will not stop even for 5 minutes to negotiate with the UN is proof enough that they are up to something.
@ The morron below me:
Yes lots of countries have nuclear weapons, but there are rules such as when the UN comes in and asks to inspect you let them because you have nothing to hide and its at no cost to you. When the whole world including the UN, Russia etc is calling for you to either admit your making weapons or let us varify that its only for energy production, and you tell them to F themselves, it just becomes obviouse you are up to something.
We are the only ones who dropped it but it was at a time where everyone was scrambling to make noe and drop it, we just did it first and thats why you have cheap clothes at walmart and you can fluently speak english instead of Japanese.

In the begining I actually believed them that they only want nuclear power for economic purposes, but now we can almost say that is un-true. I wish we were in Iran instead of Iraq. I have a feeling allies are going to war with Iran, due to President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad arrogance and now the capture of 15 Brittish sailors!
What an idiot! I just hope that suicide bombers won't be there.

With Iran's president giving his people guarantees of wiping out America and Israel while bragging that Uranium enrichment will continue......I like the simple theory of bombing all their uranium and military facilities every 5 years. It has been reported it would take up to 5 years for them to rebuild after being bombed, so they can, and should be, kept under control before they are fully capable of being a threat.

They can say they want it for a peaceful program all they want but I'd say it's for the same reason everybody else does, power, world standing, and to keep people from attacking and invading!

The US, China, Russia, N. Korea, U.K., all have them. So why is it a big deal for Iran to have them? The US has actually used them in the past so wouldn't that make us more dangerous?..............
