Why does ANYONE try to force their beliefs on anyone else?
Your spiritual beliefs or non beliefs are YOUR OWN and people really need to learn to respect others!!!
Good Question!!!!!!

I am an Atheist and I don't force my feelings on anybody, read the previous answers to your question and you will see that the silly replies are from so called religious people, it is impossible for me to force my beliefs on you because I don't have any, you can believe what you like, it does not bother me, when do you see an atheist on a street corner trying to covert anyone away from religion I would say never, how often do you get people of different faiths trying to convert passers by on the streets, or call at your home, or put their leaflets through your door, the answer is, ALL THE TIME, so STOP IT.
Leave me alone I am happy without the need of a God of any sort.
Chris.
P.S.
I would like to add that I am not a Nazi, I am not evil, I am not stupid, I am not a dum head what ever that means and I am certainly not miserable.
Chris.

I think it is human nature to dislike others who do not believe the same as we do. Most of us, try our best to control this, but there are others who see it as their duty to point out the "errors" in other peoples beliefs. I have known Atheists that have been very respectful of other beliefs, but there are Atheist that insist that everyone must give up their beliefs for Atheistic logic. I believe that these are the minority of Atheists.

There are extremists in every group on the planet. From the people who throw red paint on real fur clothing to the Christians who knock you out with the "Gospel Stomp". I applaud faith and belief, but sometimes people take it too far and intrude on other people's beliefs. Live and let live, dude! It will all wash out in the end.

We all believe that our beliefs are self-evident, and it seems that others should just get with the program. It seems so obvious to me that there is no evidence for the existence of god, just as it seems obvious to Christians that He exists.
I think the drive to force others to see things our way comes from the desire have our point of view validated, and to "help" people by making them see "the truth."
I personally don't care what other people believe, though I will state my own opinions.

If I'm correct Athiests have no beleifs. They beleive in no superior power. So all they can do is say they think your beleif is wrong and that they think religouse beleifs as a hole are wrong.
Now something mixed up with athiests are Saitinists. They are often known to push their beleif in Satin and not God on christians.
I hope this helps and perhaps try to be more specific next time.

I can't walk down the street without some atheist or another pointing a gun at my head and saying "Stop believing."
