One time I saw this chick who had like a plastic case on a string that was designed to hold a cellphone, ID and what not for rafting trips. But I never asked what it was called. Anyone know of anything like this? Or where I can find one?

Walmart sells a little waterproof box on a string big enough for a drivers license, credit cards, cash and a small cell phone. Go look in the camping department.

I have one that will float high ,I purchased from a sports store ,and as one person for shore said here maybe use several good zip lock bags if that's all you can find by time of your trip.WARNING though water has a way of getting in strange places and one way is through sweating ,condensation and that's one reason good cases have a sponge in them.

A company called Pelican Cases makes a great case for cell phones and other items. They come in various sizes and work great. I work as a professional river guide on the Royal Gorge in Colorado and I've used my Pelican everyday I'm on the river. Here is their website! http://www.pelican.com/

You need something like a peli case. Waterproof to a ridiculous depth and almost indestructible!

Go here http://www.cascadeoutfitters.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=category.display&category_id=93

They make cases in virtually all shapes and sizes and WILL have something to suit your needs.

Hope this helps
