i really like this guy and i told him this about 2 weeks ago, he told me he wasnt sure how he felt at that moment cos he liked this other girl as well. Which i was fine about and just left it like that. Today though we were sat together and he randomly put his head on my shoulder ( we were lying down)so our heads were in line and we were looking into each others eyes. He also started tickling me and stroaking my nose. We were very close and although it was nice, afterwards i started feeling a bit used, i think this is cos i havnt heard him mention the other girls name in a while and i dont think anything is happening between them. I dont want to mention anything to him unless im sure i have a chance as we are good friends and i dont want to ruin this. Do you think hes decided he likes me now or is he just doing it cos he knows i like him and the other girl doesnt appear to like him back?

i think he likes you, but you should be sure to find out, i wouldnt ask him directly tho cause it might bring an weird moment. It sounds like he likes you and he is trying to show it.

If I were in you place I would let it go (the really liking him part) it's better to start out with being friends, the rest will come in time. You really don't want to scare him off, before he gets the chance to know you as a girlfriend.
I don't think he is using you, just maybe testing the waters to see if you can become more than just friends.
Sit back and enjoy the ride, who knows were it will take you.

hmmm, sounds to me like he's keeping his options open on the two of you and perhaps this other girl hasn't let him know how she feels. Otherwise, why didn't he say that he likes you and wants to go out with you?
I'd be inclined to raise the subject - what do you have to lose? Just say, "oh by the way, how's it going with xxxx (whatever her name is)" and let him explain what's going on. At least you will know.
Life is too short to be second-best, believe me!
