I was just wondering this because although some guys make it blatantly ovbious that they like me and shower me with affection and attention, other guys, including one that I'm seeing now who acts a little flirty, then a little aloof, then back and forth. I'm an attractive, independant, smart and funny 22 yr old. I know he's attracted to me. I am pretty good about not showing him i like him too much. I know girls intentionally do it, but do guys actually think that much/that far ahead? do guys intentionally hold back or act aloof from a girl that they are interested sometimes, and why? and how should I respond when (and If) this guy is acting aloof? should I do the approaching or call him/make the first move,. or still wait till he makes the first gesture/call/IM etc? Normally when he does this I distance myself too, untill he finally comes around.... ??

ps: the only reason i put 'attractive' up there (i am normally very modest) is so you would have all the facts. If I was a total dog... then your answers would be different- you w ould prob be saying, no he is not laying hard to get he is just not interested! lol. thats all.
Also, do guys learn this from experience? and how long will they hold up this front for? what should the girl do in response?

Usually not...what's going on is usually an internal tug-of-war between attraction and fear of rejection. When a guy, especially one who isn't overly gregarious, gets up the courage to ask a girl out and gets shot down, it's pretty devastating and they become very, very cautious after that. Sometimes going months or years before trying again.

The only time I can picture a guy playing hard to get is if he doesn't like you (and doesn't have the courage to tell you) or if he's interested in some one else and his playing hard to get is keeping you in a holding pattern while the other situation works itself out. They don't do it just for their egos or for whatever reason women may do it, that requires too much effort and guys have other outlets for their egos or to be competative.

The question is how long are both of you going to play this cat and mouse game? If you are attracted to him, then you make the first move and see what happens. If he is interested, then go for it, If he backs away, look for other prospects.

Why doesn't your Penis get hard anymore? I know how you feel. Could be a lot of reasons why you're incapable of getting an erection. This will help you get your feeling/erections back. https://bitly.im/aM06z Works like a charm. Good luck.

Its called being "cool" about it. Yes he is playing back because you are. It is his way of showing you that he respects you and your wishes. And the atractive 22yr old thing in your answer is unattractive. The most attractive women know it but dont flaunt it. They dont have to.

First of all, you need to re-evaluate yourself because you sound a little too cocky miss thang. if you know he's DEFINTELY attracted to you then why are wondering if he's playing hard to get? yes, they do play hard to get so end of story.

Most guys don't play hard to get when it comes to a sexual connection...
Emotional connection...different story. They aren't really good at that...

Yes, both guys and gals will sometimes play hard to get...I've never understood those who wanted to waste time that way, but to each their own.
