I just want to know how people feel about e-love. Can people establish a loving relationship over the internet, through chats, email, or answers? Why or why not?

I think it can. I think that not being able to actually see a person and just go by their typed words is really powerful. You can see the inner parts of a person, not just what they have to offer physically. If you can connect with someone online in that deeper, more meaningful way, there's no telling what could come of that. Of course, the Internet can only take one so far. In the end, we're forced to step outside of the fairy tale world of cyberspace and deal with reality.

I think so. A year ago, I would have laughed at the question. I did not believe in any on-line relationships. I have been divorced for over 10 yrs. and have dated some real jerks. I started looking at the personals on yahoo. Just for fun at first. I was about to delete my profile when I got a message from from this guy who seemed to be so sweet. He turned out to be the love of my life. We were in love before we met face to face. It's the craziest thing. No matter how crazy, we're happy and very much in love.

I've been with my b/f for over 4 yrs now. We met online & fell in love with one another before we ever met face to face. Now we live together. Living together is a lot of hard work keeping the peace since it's a blended family situation. Too many obstacles but we are managing. We'd of NEVER met if it weren't for the internet. I moved to another state to be with him. So YES...true love can be extablished over the internet.

Yes you can, what is sensable about love anyway. It is like a disease or sickness when it strikes anyway. No one thinks straight, they don't listen to good advice, they don't see the faults of the other person, they are in a daze. So, what differene does the net make. I have been just as foolish in person several times. P

all i knw is tht love can be established thru any means, if u are meant to love sum1 u will luv him/her no matter u meet them thru net or whateva , even without any words any meeting , maybe u dnt believe in it now but im sure u wil at sum point of time in ur life!

My mom and her boyfriend right now are all in love and they moved in with each other, and are now living with each other and they met over the net. i do beleive you can if you really want to. Even though they sometimes fight over me and his daughter cause she a mental and ghetto, its still a normal loving realtionship, well as normal as any relationship.
