Dining out alone at Hardee's I see man pacing in front of me?

I'm practically completely alone dining in Hardee's. Out of my peripheral vision I notice a man pacing from one side of the restaurant to the other. I notice he is actually trying to get my attention. He walks to one side and just about leaves my view but stays staring around the corner at me. Then he walks to the other side and acts as if he is going to leave in a car, but never does. I feel as though he is trying to get in my personal space and make me loose my appetite from 50 feet away. What would you say this guy is doing? Is a stalker? Is it hate? Is he trying to scare me? Does he like me? Is he gay? Jealousy? Is he trying to offend?

He walked back and forth about half dozen times before I finally left the restaurant. Please give your best opinion on what this guys reasoning is?

From what you wrote here I think it's a good thing that you got out of there without talking to him or even letting on that you noticed what he was doing. I would have mentioned something to the manager before I left though. You never know what he was up to.

I used to manage a Wendy's and we had a similar situation happen one night while I was on duty. A lady brought it to my attention and I kept the guy on the video camera. I didn't let any of my female employees go near him. I finally called the police and we later found out that the guy was a known molester and thief. He was scoping out the restaurant and the females. After that incident we made sure to have more male employees on the night shift.

It kind of sounds like he has mental problems. You were smart not to approach him. Keep your eye out for him in the future.

IT SOUNDS TO ME THAT THIS GUY IS DOING IT TO GET YOUR ATTENTION AND HE ACCOMPLISHED THIS BECAUSE YOU GAVE IT TO HIM. SOME PEOPLE ARE JUST BORED, AND FEED OFF STUFF LIKE THIS.
