Sytem Restore, if you install a game but you are not happy with it or you want to get rid of it, can you use system restore on windows to get rid of it or will it still stay installed when you restore the system. You see, i was thinking of installing 'Empire Earth' Two onto it but if it takes too much memory i want to be able to get rid of it. If system restore doesen't work like this, is there any way of getting rid of it completely so my computer wont be slow (that's is i is slow if and when i install it). Ta.

Uninstall it first, so that all of the game files are wiped, and then perform a system restore back to a point before you installed the game, as this will change the registry settings and files back to what they were before the game was installed - so there should be no problems.

i suggest you not to use system restore, because if for some reason you have work in your computer after you have installed your game, the system restore will restore your computer up to the point before you installed the game. so whatever the work you are working after the game is installed will be lost.

try to remove program from the control panel. if there are still game folders in your program you can remove it manually. it doesn't affect your windows system, or to be safe you can download SureDelete program. it will delete the files that you don't need automatically.

If I was doing this I would simply go to the uninstall empire earth two wizard that would come up when I went to add or remove programs and selected empire earth to be removed. Probably simpler.
