Its a staggered schedule. All vaccinations should be administered by 15 weeks. Rabies will need a booster after the first year and every 3 years after that. Some of the other vacs may or may not need regularly scheduled boosters.

Vaccinations should NOT ever be done before a puppy is entering 8 weeks of age. Vaccinating younger can suppress immune system, cause future vacciantion issues, interfer with natural immunity, make a puppy more suseptable to the very illness that the vaccianes are suppose to prevent.
The protocol is as follows:

8-9 weeks distemper/parvo/canine hepatitis/adenovirus-2
12-14 weeks repeat
16- 18 weeks repeat above again
20 weeks or older rabies

A year from the date of the last vaccination a booster is given and then not again for 3 years

lepto, parainfluenza, lymes and bordatella (kennel cough) should not be given to all puppies/dogs.It should only be administered to thsoe that are high risk of exposure.

coronavirus, giardia should NOT be given to ANY puppy/dog.

The above is the recommendation of the AAHA/AVMA and all 27 vet school. It is also the recommendation of a major drug company. This recommendation is also based on the intensive studies done by several of the vet universities and Dr. Jean Dodds and Dr. Ron Schultz.

For more info go to the AAHA site or to Dr. Jean Dodds site. Also if you can get a copy of the November 2006 issue of Whole Dog Journal. It has a wonderful easy to understand article on vacciantions.

the PARVO should be given BEFORE YOU TAKE EM OUT IN PUBLIC, it is deadly and I puppy padded our pup indoors till they were old enough for that shot
The final puppy series of shots will do all the distemper and things

6 wks.......breeder gets parvo shot done.
then the new owner takes the puppy at 8 wks, a vaccination course of 2 injections is given, 1st at 8 wks and 2nd at 12 weeks, or they can have them done at 10 + 12 weeks.................dont forget kennel cough vaccine, usually done with 2nd vacc at 12 weeks, and microchip, pet insurance....... Rabies shots are only given if you are travelling abroad with your pet, pet passport etc, usually 6 mths before travelling........(vet nurse)
