If you live in Europe you can get a clean record here: http://www.getalicence.com/index.htm

If you live in the US, I don't know.

In Kansas, most citations stay on your record for 3 years.

Accidents stay on your record for 5 years.

DUI's never leave. Now it's a law, no matter how long ago or in which state, your 3rd DUI is a felony. When your arrested, they'll check your total arrest history (a.k.a. Triple I) which will show when you were arrested, for what, and any convictions. This begins from when you first started driving. Hint: do not drink and drive (or drive under the influence of medication; illigal or prescription). It's the same.

For insurance purposes, I just found out accidents may stay on your record for 5 years, but our new insurance company only knocks you if it's less than 3 years old. I like them. :)

Do what I did. Invest in the Worlds Best Radar Detector. Its called the 8500 X50 or the Solo S2. Google the both of those.

I've had mine for 3 years and let me tell ya.. I havent stopped driving fast.. I drive fast everywhere and I make sure that my radar detector is mounted on my windshield. Dont worry about getting caught with it.. Its invisible to VG-2.

Weather its a trip to the store or a friends house or a trip on the Freeway. I catch all the speed traps miles before I am in danger.

I once passed a cop doing 90 in a 65 zone.. Didnt hit the brake. Kept going 90 past him and he couldent touch me.. The radar detector takes his signal and throws it anywhere but back to the gun. Just do a google search for 8500 X50 or Solo S2.

Best 300 you will ever spend.

Dont worry.. Im in VA and use it all the time..
Its only illegial if you get caught!!

The only way to clean up your driving record is to drive without getting any traffic tickets for at least 3 years. You may be able to get some points removed through traffic school if you haven't already attended.

it takes time for the violations to drop off the record. Most incidents drop in 3 to 5 years. More serious offenses can stay there for up to 10 years. In my State, for some Court considerations they tally lifetime DUI's and I have seen DUI's on records from the 70's. But minor stuff is gone in a few years.

Slow down and don't get any violations.
