We're planning to take a long car trip with our dog soon, and I'd like to be able to locate vet clinics and boarding kennels in towns along the way if we need them. Does anyone have a link or suggestions for finding vet clinics and kennels along the route?

Use Yahoo's Yellow Pages link and search the towns along your route. Or call your vet and ask for references. My vet has a book of vets in my state and can give me references pretty quickly. There are also usually state vet organizations that you can search for and they usually can list member vets.

I am very impressed with your question!!

It is so nice to see a responsible pet owner that is thinking ahead. I would suggest you post major cities you will be traveling through and those in those areas can help.

I am in Cincinnati/Northern KY if you are coming this way.
