Summer heat has hit northwestern Europe where, under sunny skies, temperatures have been soaring well above the 30ies Celsius. However, if you are planning to travel along the river Rhine during the coming days, be prepared for some unusual hot weather and thunderstorm activity on Tuesday and Wednesday, when much of central Europe will see sweltering temperatures up to 35C.

According to Rheinmain TV weather it's sunny and mild. Daytime temperature 15-17degC falling to 3-5degC at night. There may be showers in the Southwest of the region. The wind is Easterly.

According to my cousin last week was rather warm and sunny. May can also be wet so take a raincoat .

i am in austria at moment and saw the weather for tomorrow in that area on local tv and it will be sunny and 16c in north west germany
