Losing 35 lbs is not necessarily a problem; losing it in 9 weeks is.

The safe amount of weight to lose is somewhere between 5 and 8 lbs per month.

I would not recommend it. If you stretch it out to 4 or 5 months, you're a bit over your "safe loss" zone, but at least it's safer than 2.25 months.

Hi,

I think you menat losing 35 pounds in 9 weeks right? The only method I know which is possible is an intensive detox.

For your current plan, you might be able to lose your desired weight but you are likely to put back on very quickly as well as if you eat too few calories and not enough nutrients everyday, your body will go into starvation mode. Unless that is not an issue for you, then you might want to consider trying a detox.

I specialize in helping people lose weight quickly and healthily and i myself lost 15kg within 2 mths via a detox.

I have also helped people lose a total of 500kg in the past few years via detox.

And the detox is simple. All you need to do is three things.

Number one, follow the detox programme which requires you to change your diet a little bit. Eg, take more vege and less meat and seafoods.

Number two, use 1 minute a day to take some natural health foods that I take to enhance the speed and the effect of the detox.

Number three, drink lots of water to flush the toxins out..

And that's it.

The rest is up to you.

So what do you think? ;)

If you are keen to find out more about my detox programme, you can email me at verityy@yahoo.com.

First of all, limiting yourself to one meal a day will actually make you GAIN weight because your metabolism will slow right down. The best thing to do is to eat small meals throughout the day (every 3-4 hours). Eat lots of fruits, veggies and lean meats. Walking is good excercise, just make sure you're pushing yourself- you want to feel like you're actually working. Don't eat too late at night and try to stay away from pasta, bread etc. This is the best, healthiest way to go.

one week or nine weeks? your question and your details contradict each other.

it takes time to lose that much, and you can't just starve yourself because it'll just come back if you do that. basically, eat a balanced meal, meaning a little of all the food groups, with small portions for all of them. Also, at least a glass of water every hour. Don't drink more than a gallon of water in an hour or you'll damage your body.

Cut out excessive sugar and caffeine, as well as trans fats and as much saturated fat as you can do without,

Substitute the heavy lunch to a light diet like a Bowl of Tomato Soup or somthing of that sort. Eat only Dinner and Breakfast. Trust me this would help you without effecting your health.

If you eat only 1 meal a day, your body will think you are starving & will store it all as fat. You need to eat several small meals a day in order to keep your metabolism working.
