It's a sign of both. She loves you and is afraid if she lets go for a second, you'll leave her.

I think perhaps it just shows her lack of experience in a relationship. She probably thinks that is how she is supposed to be maybe by watching her mom, sister, girlfriend or some woman in her life. If it is bothering you, then explain it to her by saying something like "your company is even more special when I have a chance to miss you a little."
It is really not healthy for any person to be clingy or co-dependant.
The best relationships can be compared to 2 ships on the ocean. If they get too close, then they could sink one another, too far and they find other waterways.
I'm always reminded of an old 38 Special song, "Hold on Loosely, but don't let go. If you cling too tightly, your gonna loose control".

I hope it all works out well for you!

I think it depends on the situation but just because a girl is clingy doesn't mean that it's she's insecure. Females tend to be more clingy by nature and it usually means nothing more than they are just being a girl. I just met someone and she's very clingy but we both have fallen hard and fast for each other. It doesn't bother me one bit and I think her being clingy is adorable. All that matters is if it bothers you. Some guys don't like clingy girls but if you are totally into her and you are not bothered by it then just go with it.

More likely insecurity than love. Love would make someone want to be close all the time and very attentive, but being clingy implies anxiety over the possibility of separation.

If your girl is very clingy, I would say that it is both, How do I say? Love- you are the only one that she wants in her life right now and no one can tell her different, Insecurity- She is afraid that she might lose you to another woman and she will be crushed. The only remedy I can perscribe to you is: Be there when she needs you, stay in contact with her to let her know that you are thinking about her, and when you are together with her, give her a big bear hug and kiss her on the cheek to let her know that you are there always.

Insecurity.

Insecurity! Clinginess is not necessary when you trust and love someone. Trust is when you know your better half will always be there, will always be faithful and not having to be with him or her 24/7 just in case.

Could be both. Maybe she finds u a bit distant from her and she feels she has to put in extra effort, if u need ur space let her know taht lovingly, but only after making sure that she knows that u r there for her. Read 'Men are from mars and women are from venus'. Ull get ur answers.

Everyone's idea of clingy is different. If she enjoys your company and wants to spend time with you, she loves you. If she can't go to the store by herself and your not allowed to have guy time ever, then it is probably insecurity.

Depends on the degree of clingyness. Are you just feeling suffocated because it's getting too serious? Or is this a more than normal type of behavior she's having? If it's that, then she may have insecurity issues. Talk to her about it.

I'd say a little bit of insecurity. It could be that she constantly needs to be reinforced in some emotional thing or she's scared of something happening to the relationship or both.
