My husband's step-mother and I have become quite close in the last few months. She loves books, so I would like to get her some sort of relational-type book like these

Those are specifically focused on mothers and daughters so they don't quite fit. Do they have any (nice) books specifically targeted towards daughter-in-law/mother-in-law relationships or even a book that is for someone special in your life that doesn't quite fit into the 'friend' category either?

If she loves books must be easy. However, talk to her in a very informal conversation about any kind of sub jet.Pay attention and see how she reacts about the matter.Perhaps she is crazy about politics.Religion.True crime.Goverment.Etc.Then,pick the right book for her might be very easy.
