Not all Christians share extremist views like that. Many are just normal people who live by faith but who also know how to view the world without judging others. Please don't be in the dark ages yourself. Do not be prejudiced toward all Christians for just what some of them do. That is just as unfair as being prejudiced toward a race of people for what some do. As in any race, where there are good and not-so-good people (concerning behavioral choices), you will find the same in any religion and with those who claim no religion. To judge a whole group of people based on what some of them do, think, say, or believe is just plain wrong.

As a Christian who tries to understand others instead of judge them, I would rather not be lumped into the category with those who have extreme views and are very judgemental toward others. No, all Christians are not the same...if they were, then we would not have so many different types of churches to choose from. Personally, I believe that mental illness is a valid medical condition that people can suffer from. I have known people very closely who suffered from mental illness. The brain, just like the heart, is a vital organ which can have something go wrong with it. When a person is mentally ill or believes they might be, then they need to seek the professional help of someone specializing in mental illness such as a psychiatrist or psychologist just like a person with heart trouble will see a cardiologist.

No priest or minister in thier right mind will keep someone from healthcare, You have it wrong. After and only after all else has been rulled out do they even think of demonic possesion. It is then through much prayer and meditation that it is even a viable option

No, most "Christians" DO condescend to accept modern medical treatment rather than heading for the witch-doctor i.e. priest. Just as most "Christians" use the internet, drive cars, and engage in all sorts of activities that aren't specifically mentioned in the bible. Is this apostacy? Eh, who cares.

I do however find many references to God who can help in any situation.
