Hi Cutie, I'm afraid the Isle of White, mainly caters for the oldies, it's like stepping back into the sixties!

It's the Isle of Wight, not white.
There's too much to include in an Answer in this forum.
The island has superb sandy beaches along the coasts at Ryde, Shankin and Sandown.
Almost any pub will serve decent food but I recommend The Buddle at St Catherine's. It's an old smuggler's inn. You find it on a map just at the south end of the Military Road, near a place called Niton.
Look at a map and identify the Military Road. It's along the south west coast of the 'diamond shape'. Along that road is the Dinosaur Farm and Isle of Wight Pearl. Both are worth a visit. Keep going west and you'll end up at Alum Chine. This is famous for it's coloured sand cliffs. Don't be put off by the tacky fairgound stuff at the top.
Avoid the place called Godshill as if it were a nest of Plague. This is a pure 'chocolate box' creation which exists solely to extract money from gullible tourists. It's full of ghastly "souvenier shops" and overpriced cafes and coach parties.
Ride the electric train from Ryde to Shanklin and the steam train.
If you have time you should visit Osborne House. This was Queen Victoria's country retreat. It's just south of Cowes. There are also lots of Roman villas on the island.
Enjoy the crossing and spend your time Supertanker Spotting.

This diamond-shaped isle is a treasure trove of historic and prehistoric interest. Dinosaurs, ancient tribes, Romans and monarchs throughout the ages have left behind a fascinating trail into the past. The island was once a frequent haunt of many eminent Victorians, including Charles Dickens, Lewis Carroll, J M W Turner, Henry VIII and Queen Victoria.
Things to do:
Needles Park, Totland Bay
Dinosaur Isle, Sandown
Ventnor Botanic Garden and Visitor Centre, Ventnor
Carisbrooke Castle, Newport
Blackgang Chine Fantasy Park, Ventnor
The Model Village, Godshill

I went there 3 weeks ago and stayed at the Luccombe Hall Hotel. Lovely place. But I do kind of agree with the answerer who says it's mainly for the oldies. Ventnor is a picturesque village with a good pub called the Spyglass Inn. Further on down is where it gets quite wild (countryside not nightlife!). The Needles are worth a look but not in wet weather.
Newport is a pretty ugly town but had Carrisbrook Castle. Was disappointed to find most of it wasn't open though.
Osborne House is definitely worth a look.
There seems to be a large amount of 'craft villages' that sell rubbish.
Weather was great while I was there. Hope it is for you too
