He always comes so close to me as if explaining stuff about work and papers in my hands, often brings me chocolate, always calls me and praise me in front of colleagues in a noticable way. I often catches his eyes looking at me (in a certain way!!) and then when I look at him he looks somewhere else. He is kinda so old (60) and am just (26). I used to translate these as a nice attitude until it is so excessive. I do like work, colleagues, the whole climate.. shall I continue or leave work coz of him?

If you notice, most old men that manage businesses, and don't have wives, want a pretty young girl to play around with. If you don't want him to treat you in such a manner, you can tell him that you are not interested in anything but your work when you are at your work place. If he persists, you might try to report him to someone who controls his job. He will either stop, after that, or he will be fired for sexual harassment.

First, if you are not comfortable with this situation you need to ontact your human resources department and file a report. Trust me, things could get worse if you choose not to act on this professionally aswell as you do not want this to happen to another. I was in a situation like this with my former boss. He would flirt with me and one time called me into his office for a one on one meeting and when I went to leave he grabbed me and tried to take down my pants. I never thought that would happen to me. When I reported this to Human Resources, I thought that others would cause problems, He was the cool boss, but other women came forth when the investagation came.

It sound that he is flirting with you, trying to see what your reaction is going to be. However, at this point he hasn't really broken any laws. Is there someone over him that you can sit and trust to talk to ? If yes then I would recommend that you do that immediately. Make sure to let him know that any kind of advances are not wanted and see how that goes.

Good luck

If you like your job, don't leave!!

Your first step should be going to him and telling him you are uncomfortable! Better yet, email him so you have it in writing. If it doesn't stop, take it to H.R. or someone above him. Be very clear and stick to what you say!! If it still continues, you may need to consider something more drastic. If his actions are inappropriate and making you uncomfortable and he refuses to stop - it is called sexual harrassment!!

if you feel uncomfortable, then just leave.

if you can bear with the excessive 'nice attitudes' that could possibly lead to sexual harassment...then..stay

or maybe you could tell him that you are not really comfortable with all those nice attitudes. maybe you remind him of her daughter or sumthin..

Does'nt look bad. but dont reciprocate. It'll make others think he shows favoritism cause you flirt.

Maybe you should sit down and talk to him, or see if you can transfer offices.
