stay the hell away from Best Buy, Circut City, and Wal-mart

I hate to say it but, Wal-Mart.

The only reason I say that is b/c of the brand, Lightning Audio, that is sold there.

Lightning Audio is manufactured by Rocford Fosgate (yes, really) and they've got to be 1 of the top brands for budget systems.
They've got 4", 6.5", and 6x9"'s. The 4"'s go for $25. The 6.5"'s and 6x9"'s go for $35. They also have 10 and 12" subs there. The 12"'s go for $40 each.
I had a friend that had a pair of 6x9"'s and 2 12"'s. He had 100watts rms on each 6x9" and 350 watts rms on each 12". I've got to admit, it was THE BEST low budget system i've ever heard. Very loud AND clear.

Can't go wrong with the prices, but what's easier is that there is a Wal-Mart near You.

Good Luck!

you merely want a clean deck, a aftermarket wiring harness for you type of motor vehicle to the radio. you need to use the inventory audio equipment yet aftermarket will sound cleared yet loss wattage and that they wont be loud. the only time you may particularly want a amp is that if to procure sub's, or if your putting to jointly a instruct type equipment. something louder than interior the motor vehicle or distortion from 10 feet way from the motor vehicle is over kill.
