Only if she takes progestin only pills such as Provera. Combined birth control pills will dry her milk and she won't be able to nurse the baby.

I'm no expert, but I always hear on the advertisements "Do not use if you are pregnant or nursing". I'd recommend that whoever is considering this to speak with their doctor, or avoid BC pills all together while nursing.

there is one kind of birthcontrol for nursing moms called camila and i know that one is safe to use while nursing but i believe pretty much any other birth control is not good for the baby

I don't have a MD behind my name but after you give birth, I'm not sure your OB/GYN will even give you birth control pills until AFTER you have had your next menstrual cycle after giving birth. When you go to the doctor for your check-up after giving birth, make sure you have this conversation with your OB/GYN

yea you can nurse your baby, if you had her already then their is no harm just pay close attention to the baby after you take the pill

there are certain bc pills that you can take while nursing. Talk to your doctor and he/she can prescribe something that will be ok for your breast milk
