their non-belief. rather like the way some people shout out blasphemy! when you question theirs? i thought of theisphamy, but it sounds too klunky and doesn't seem to carry enough weight of shocked indignation.

No, if you're atheist long enough you'll no longer be shocked by the idiotic line of questioning that theists invariably tend to believe to have validity or contain some irrefutable 'truth'. Nothing surprises or shocks me I've spoken with enough theists to know pretty much what is going to be said even before they say it. They're THAT predictable.

Actually, I am rather amused when Christards question me....

sort of "If we come from apes, why are there still apes?" or "If there is no God, where did all the trees and the mountains and rivers come from"?

Blasphemy works only in dogmatic beliefs, of which I have none.

Naah, we don't get shocked by the ignorance of christians anymore. We take it for granted.
It's when one of them pulls their head out of their rectal cavity and sees the world as it really is, that's when we're surprised. And we usually say "welcome to the fastest growing segment of human population; people smart enough to see religion for the con-game it truely is".

I am never shocked by my lack of belief being questioned.

Actually, I'm rather bored by their endless outrage.
