Love, and I am talking TRUE love here, not infatuation or physical attraction, is caring for another person more than you care for yourself! It is a selfless love. It is NOT a 50-50 deal, it HAS to be a 100 - 100 deal, where you love the other person with NO expectations from them! That is really putting yourself out there, but I am just answering your question. I don't know your age, but you will see that once you find that one special person that you think you are so in love with, that there could NEVER be ANY love as strong as this one...as you spend years together, that love will grow deeper and stronger and you will realize that you have a friend that you can count on when everybody else will abandon you. A person who will want you, in spite of your faults (and we ALL have them!). When you have this person, and you both feel the same way, you have found TRUE love!

Love is putting up with someone because you care for them, love is being kind to someone, love is not envious of others and their things or life, love does not make yourself look better to someone else than you are. Love means you do not react badly in situations you might, love is not self-serving. Love is not easily changed to hate or anger.

There is so much to love that you cannot begin to write it all. This is a good place to start though.

I think of it as emotional attatchment. If you find yourself wanting to spend time with a certain person over everyone else then thats it. However its really hard to keep it going and different things work for different people. Love is work but most people think its worth it I guess. Maybe I'm dumming it down cause I've never been in it.

what is love? well first of all you can love anybody but it's a difference to being in love. Being in love is having a feeling that you have never had before. and you quite describe it. it's taking that person for who they are and you feel as though you have found your true soul mate. love is a feeling that is unexplainable, loss for words.

love is an addiction. A dependence on another person. Though we try to pass it off as an emotion. It is really an addiction. It actually alters your brain, like cigarettes or drugs.

It's a strong, passionate, affection and deep devotion of one person for another. How's that? :)
