I'm not usually one to suggest ebay, but I was looking around the bedding items the other day just for the fun of it, and came across MANY brand new comforters.. of all sorts of colors for as cheap as $30!

it may or may not be your style, but try urban outfitters, it can be really trendy or really traditional, depending on what you choose and what you place it in a room with.
(danish dot, swedish rose, circle quilt, reversible satin quilt, cutwork applique quilt)
