I need to stay up all day and all night until about 5 pm tomorrow. I must study all night for this test that I'm taking tomorrow at 3pm.
Are there any foods, pills, or any other thing that I can take to keep me awake for several hours? Please help, I'm desperate, because I need to get this stuff done!

SAM1981 & SWEENDOG: Thanks for your input, but I'm not doing this at last minute as a result of procrastination. I'm enrolled with 18 credit hours this semester and have an overload of coursework, which is why I need to stay up and study.

My two cents, never stay up all night to study for something. Ive done it a million times and found out that I fare much better when I get some sleep, even if it is just a few hours. By the time you have to take your test(the near end of your 24-36 hours awake) your brain is so exhausted by exertion that even if you have information pounded in your brain, it is much easier to draw a blank. I'd say grab a nap right now if it is at all possible... sleep 3 or 4 hours... study WITHOUT drinking coffee/taking caffeine pills. Wait untill you are about ready to fall asleep again then start drinking some coffee. If you stay on this stuff on night long it will have the opposite effect. You will be wired out and shaky by the time you take your test. Again something that has happened to me way to many times. When you feel awake stop drinking it, then when you feel super tired again drink some more. After you get about an hour or two of studying done go for a walk for 15 minutes, or anything to unwind yourself for a bit. This will help your brain retain the information if you dont keep trying to pump it full non stop all night, and the walk will kick your body into gear and give you a bit more energy. Everybody's body is different, and me personally, I'm usually up all night anyways and sleep during most of the day untill I have to work, but all night benders fulled by caffeine have never resulted in any good for me, even when I convinced myself it would. **** you might close your eyes for two minutes an hour before you have to go take your test, fall asleep and miss the whole thing. Yes this has also happened to me before :)
And sorry this was so long winded

I think your best bet would be to study for a few hours at a time and take half hour or 45 minute breaks in between to eat something and/or take a power nap. Energy drinks and pills are more of a sugar rush and can cause you to crash at the least opportune time. They can break your concentration. I don't know much about focus factor but that could be something else to ask about. Study partners can help a lot too.

I know that you need to stay up and study for this test you are taking but then you really need to take a shut eye to retain what you have been studying.
To keep you up take a short break to eat a Mars or Snickers to give a boost of energy. You may try some warm milk with a cheese toast or something like that.
But sincerely try to take a short nap before the exam. Best of luck.

if you dont know it by now, your not going to. You know what you know & if youve been studying & doing your homework, & attending classes, then that is it, thats all that needs to be done. & if you have that much stress & feel that overwhelmed than maybe you should consider NOT taking that many hurs next semester! Break up the hours, go thru summer. But pills are not your answer, you'll get sick, & fail, or youll get hooked & fail in life. Yu have a bad attitude thinking pills are going to pull you through this. Youll lokk for them later in life. STOP thinking that way. Take the test & see what you truly know now, not with a night of cramming. Your teacher taught it through you through time, not just today or yesterday. Go to sleep, obviously that is what your body is telling you!

Taking a nap will refresh your brain so that the subjects you are studying will sink in.. this cramming thing works only to a point. Get 6 hours of sleep and then you won't be racing around looking for NoDoz or Venti Coffee's to stay awake.
Trust me it makes no difference, if you get those 6 hours of sleepin.. its just a college myth that cramming works that legend should be buried permanently.

Try not waiting until the las minuet, we reap what we sow... Now I suggest strong coffee any pills are only going to make you sick and jittery and unable to concentrate unless you get somthing from a doc or try the illigal substances available all over campus I am sure.... Do not try to use extecy to help you study and I strongly suggest staying away from any drugs period.....Cram what you can and let the chips fall, there is always summer sessions or make up classes, daddy would love that, wouldn't he?????

Honestly.. just drink a lot of diet coke. Sugar will only give you temporary energy. Get up and stretch at least every hour. Do some jumping-jacks or something. The key is to keep your heart rate up. good luck!

When I was in college in your position, I would drink copious amounts of Mountain Dew (which is FULL of caffeine) and eat 2-3 spoonfulls of Tasters Choice instant coffee about every 4 hours --
It worked but you felt like crap.

Have you learned your lesson about procrastinating yet...? You will need to get a little sleep - take a 3 hour nap in there somewhere. Otherwise, lot of coffee.
