South Carolina has a few quality climbing destinations, they are minor climbs in comparison with that offered across the border in North Carolina.

The climbing which is found in South Carolina occurs on the Blue Ridge Escarpment in the extreme northwest edge of the state.

North Carolina has some great bouldering sites.
