Nay- tis fun. Want to hear a stupid joke? What's big, loud, black, orange and purple?

It's rude to make fun of people at any time for any reason.
It shouldn't matter if someone is in church, the movie, or anywhere.
I do admit I wonder why some of the parishioners in my church wear what they do, but they are in church, stay for the entire service and are very friendly and outgoing.
Sometimes, I think I sound like the Pharisees in the Gospels always calling attention to the sinners and praising myself for following the rules. I should keep my thoughts to myself and mind my own business!

Church is where you come to worship the Lord, not to be in a fashion show.
You just reminded me of the story of the pastor who would see this poorly dressed man in his gongregation every Sunday. The mans clothes were dusty and his shoes were scuffed. The pastor felt sorry for this man,but noticed that the man would show up every weekend rain or shine.
Until one day the pastor introduced himself and asked the mans name. The man apologised for his appearance but explained that every Sunday morning he would start with a clean pressed suit and shined shoes, but he had so far to walk and with the dust from the side of the road,by the time he arrived for services,he would always show up like this.
Don't judge a book by it's cover. What's inside just might surprise you. Perhaps this is the best that this person has to wear. It may not look nice to you but it may be clean and they wore it to be in the house of God where all are welcome no matter their social or economic status.

It is rude to go to church to be a fashion critic. It's rude to everyone in the church, not just the one you are making fun of.

For all intents and purposes, it's rude to even exist. However, existing is one of the few things the AMA has yet to market a convincing pill to cure. Lucky you. You get to go to church and make fun of God's children 'till the sheep come home.
You get to satisfy BOTH of the Lord's commandments:
1: Go to Church always
2: Think of the others in church as lowly sinners
You must be a Southern Baptist. I know, because I am, and we can spot our own.

It's rude to make fun of people anywhere. Most people who do so are only compensating for their own true lack of self confidence.....like a big overgrown bully on the playground of life. Try reading the Scriptures instead, especially the one that begins,"Be ye kind, one to another...

it's rude to make fun of people anywhere if they hear you- it can be really hurtful. if you must just make sure you dont do it within their hearing range or for that matter make sure no one but the person you are speaking to can hear you or yes it is very rude.

It is rude if you are doing it out loud. I try to keep myself from doing it in mind, but I admit to doing that occasionally. I will think: "he could have have at least IRONED that T-shirt."
Besides, in church we ought to be concentrating on other things.
