you don't have to, but i think it definitely helps. or i know bath and body works has this peppermint shampoo that i use about once a month to get rid of build up.

that way you can keep using the same kind of shampoo after using the build up remover like once a month.

If you are using a shampoo that is leaving any build up you should stop using that shampoo all together. I can't stress enough the use of a cheap fragrant shampoo that make the hair so smooth is loaded with wax that is harming your hair. Over time you may experience hair loss or damaged hair. Go to a salon and buy a quality shampoo that does not cause a build up and you will never have to change shampoo's. I really like the Paul Mitchell brand but if ask your professional hair dresser they will give you another product that works as well. Don't buy the name brands from a discount store or drug store if the shampoo only sells directly to a salon. That is why I like Paul Mitchell, I know that if it is purchased from a salon it is guaranteed safe.

If you use a quality shampoo, then no. Just about anything you buy in a salon you can use regularly without buildup. If you're talking about Prell or something, then it's a different story

Good shampoo is so worth it, it really makes a difference in how your hair looks.

No. But you should use a good " stripping " shampoo once a week, like Prell or Neutrogena Anti Residue Shampoo. The tea tree shampoos are also good.

I had that exact same situation. I moved and my hair began falling out. I even have lots it replaced into not glaring yet i might desire to tell. whilst i might take a bathtub i actually observed it. It began to all advance returned so now I even have all of those shorter hairs that stick out! My scalp remains a sprint sore yet not as undesirable because it replaced into. i could not clarify it and that i think of it had some thing to do with the water substitute. the place I lived earlier had not elementary water and now that is fairly mushy. It sounds like cleansing soap takes perpetually to bathe off. i don't recognize which it greater effective.

It would be wise if you do because if you use only one brand, the hair gets "used" to that particular brand and it makes the hair have buildup and the hair gets "relaxed"to that one shampoo.

My stylist says no. Just use a good shampoo every time you wash.
