The submarines are already there! And idiots in congress think we can pull out of Iraq now. Iran is just waiting with baited breath so they can over-run Iraq now that we have crippled them. This is so sick it should be bad Lifetime movie. Wake up this is the "end game" that Iran has been waiting 30 years for.

Clinton's fault. He should have taken charge and killed Osama when he had the chance. Instead he was chasing Monica.

Bush may be an idiot but at least he is focussed on doing something.

The problem is embargo. No US carriers are or will offer direct flights to anywhere in Iran from U.S. controlled destinations due to political embargoes. Indirect flights occur, and you can expect to switch planes (and carriers) between here and there.

In fact, I personally entertained a client in CA about a year ago discussing this very question. The demand is very high, but supply is dry.

As far as I know, there are currently two aircraft carrier battle groups in that area. I haven't heard plans for any more.

Plenty, they just aren't doing direct flights to and from the
States.You see here in the states you can't get a direct
flight from here to Cuba.But, if you fly to..say Paris,you
could fly to paris and then catch a flight from Paris into Cuba
