I met this guy a year ago and he is perfect for me. We have awsome chemistry but I want this to be more than just a fling. What does a girl have to do for a man to repect her long-term and still get to give goodies?

You'll know when the right time comes. You probably don't want to rush it though...it's better if you wait awhile because the longer you wait the more you want it to happen and it'll be much more passionate.

You cant really make a guy want or respect you forever. I believe when you find the right guy he will treat you like you are suppose to be treated. As for sex it is all your own opinion on when you give him your goodies. Some people like to wait until they are married and others don't. Just a person to person thing. If the guy cant wait then maybe he is not the right guy, because if he is the one and loves you he should respect the girl who would rather wait.

How many dates have you been on? Here is the thing, if you've been on a few dates and you like him and you want him, just go for it. Unless both of you are of a religion that advocates abstaining till marriage or something. All I know is NO MAN respects a woman that he can bang the first night, even though he's going to try as hard as he can to get in those britches. No matter what they say, you have to make them wait at least a few dates. Then the trick is not to make yourself too available. Really, the trick is not to play tricks. If you have a good, full life outside your love/lust for this guy, he will want you all the more.

How old are you? Having sex with someone else is dependent upon a lot of factors. We need to be emotionally prepared for sex. Just because we have sex, doesn't mean we are in a relationship or that it is going to continue. Many times guys are just out looking for that.... it's usually pretty obvious. Also, a woman's brain releases the hormone oxytcin during sex, and so if we are having sex with a man, we usually start feeling attached, because of the hormone. I think it's a good idea to use our rational minds about sex and feelings... because as i said, sex doesn't always lead to a relationship. I won't have sex with someone who i don't find appealing and with whom i don't have an emotional connection. It's just not happening. And i don't find most men sexually attractive, but this is the way of women.

Who are all these freaks who think someone should wait until marriage? 2 or 3 dates is the soonest. If you are an adult and you haven't had sex within 2 months, something is wrong.

Well, lets see, the next time he does something super awesome and sweet for you, tell him youve been thinking of a way to congratulate him for some time now.

Oh and you should wait at least a year.

And if any of you are underage, dont have sex.

If you want a happy solid life together, hold off until he has a nice house paid for, a good-paying solid job, and all the security you need.
This is how it was done a couple of generations ago, and it lasted. Today is our fifty-third. we're solidly in love, and feel sorry for the way things are going for the girls of today.
They make it great for the guys, but lost so very much in the process.

there is no rules for how long you to wait to have sex. it all depends with mutual consent and clear conscience. if you want your r.ship to be more than a fling that does not mean you have to have sex to make a r/ship serious. you both have talk and discuss on you r/ship. as for your additional question i think you just have to be yourself. you just have to give your love ,commitment and respect to your guy. the gooides is your secondary priority..

you should act very hard to get in the beginning and all that but still be nice to him, i read that a good time to give it up to guy is 1 month, but you do what you want, also if you want to help yourself from not doing anything with him try not shaving and then when you 2 are getting intimate you will remember you havent shaved and will back off him so he wont touch you there(just dont tell him that you dont want to because you havent shaved, thats the trick!)
