I need one for some US shaving equipment. After learning that any AC motorized appliance that is 60hz will rotate 17% slower in a 50 Hz country (UK) than it would in the US ( 60hz country) even with a transformer.for the volts.

All the ones i've seen so far run into the thousands of pounds. Surley there's a simple solution for this 45 watt device?

The 17% slower advice applies to many types of motors including synchronous and induction motors. But typical shaving motors are not of this ilk and therefore the frequency of the line current will have little difference in operation if the VOLTAGE is correct. Many of the little shaving motors are of the "brush type" and applied frequency is not important.

Just be SURE the voltage is correct, or used through a transformer as your question states.

Nope, nothing cheap. To go from 50hz to 60hz requires regenerating the AC - and that is not something you can do cheaply. The best solution unfortunatley is for you to buy a razor made for 50hz
