well there are lots of places we use. you need to price around. Some dealers are cheeper then others. You should pay about 80-129 for a key including programming. Lock smiths are another source, We have a local guy that works out of his truck. Low over head no store front comes to you and even takes credit cards. Pays to shop around.

you can buy a key blank off ebay. Dealer price about $25.
Once you have to pats keys there is a method to progam them on your own, You can find that information in the owners manuel, The process takes about 45 min or so to do. The dealer will charge you the cost of the key and between 1/2 to 1 hour labor to do for you

If you still have a key that works you might see a locksmith.
Unless your Ford Has Electronic Antitheft built into its Keys, Then unfortunatly you have to go to a dealer.

Go to Ace Hardware and have them make a copy of the key, but tell them it has a chip taken out of it. Hopefully you will find the right key and won't have to spend a crapload of money on copies til' you finally find it.
Good luck!

Are you serious? Some times you can only get them copied at the dealer ship but if not at any hardware store that copies keys, what kind of question is that?
