I have just started counting my calories, because I want to lose about 10 lbs. I am just looking for some stories from people who have lost weight doing calorie-counting. Thanks!!

PS: It is such an easy thing to do!

Just keep it at 1500! I am so serious! And not just any cal's either! If you like junk food, try to limit yourself to small amounts a day, like a half a candybar or one a week. Along with that, walk twenty minutes twice a week, and do fifty situps three times a week. Lots of water too! It worked great for me! (I added on to the excercise after a while becuase it just got too easy!!!)

Calorie counting and "dieting" works only so far -- the real fat burner is hard work. If you eat so little that your body has to burn your fat reserves, your body will think you're starving, and your metabolism will be permanately effed up. If you diet mildly, you wil get results EXTREMELY slowly (not even a pound a week). The ONLY way to lose weight relatively fast without screwing up your body is to eat healthy and exercise. Cardio stuff. Cheers

My sister lost 65 pounds using weight watchers with is a portion-control, calorie counting program. She's kept it off for a couple of years now. She says she learned to monitor her food intake through the program.

counting energy is the worst mistake you may achieveable make. it reeled me in and became my dependancy. choose i never knew what a stupid calorie became. if counting works for you, then by technique of all potential do it. some thing that works for each person is making a existence type change. steer away from fatty and intense caarb/highly processed ingredients and eat healthful and organic ingredients, and eat at the same time as your hungry. ou can sweeten foodstuff with honey, like oatmeal, milk and honey, or granola yogurt and honey etc... you may have oven baked fries, very yummy... ingesting healthful is the large type one way tolose weight and save it off.

I went down to a BMI of 17,
started counting calories 2000 a day, then it went down to 1800, then 1500, then 1000
lost 20 lbs
but ruined my life
