Probably he was an actual person who lived in Palestine about 2000 years ago, although he may be just a legend. Some of his followers, particularly a Jew who took the name Paul, fairly severely distorted his teachings and started a dogmatic religious tradition which has since split into several thousand contentious schismatic sects.
Assuming he was a real person and the texts known as the "gospels" are in fact a record of his teachings, he was a very wise and non-judgmental person who tried to explain some of the ways in which people could live a good and happy life. Unfortunately, the large majority of people who claim to be his followers tend to ignore what he said. Too bad.

Jesus Christ is part of the Holy Trinity. He is God's only begotten son. He is the Virgin Mary's son. He is the one who died in order to take away our sins. Those who believe in him are saved. Jesus is the teacher, the Lord, the redeemer.

He is God's son, the one who died for us on the cross so that whenever we sinned we could pray and have our sins forgiven. For you cannot avoid sin for the devil is allways here. Thats why Jesus took his life, so that when it came to sin, we would not have to shed nomore blood. Jesus was a good man and is watching over us. I strongly encourage you to attend a church service and really get into detail about it, and confronting to the pastor you have not been saved yet and he would be glad to help you accept Jesus into your heart. Good luck!

The Bible states Jesus was 100% man and 100% God. It teaches that there is only one way to Heaven.
