Yes, but defrost it SLOWLY, otherwise, the edges will get cooked in the micro and the steak won't be nearly as tender! If your micro has a "defrost" button, use it and keep an eye on it! Just keep turning it over every few minutes.

sure can...but i will come out tough that way. If it's still in the package you need to set it in HOT water for about 15 mins. then you can throw it on.
