Do you really get satisfaction from insulting God? There IS a narrow & WIDE road-don't know if you "get" that, but, reading some of the answer's on here- Make's me SEE why the Lord is taking so long coming back-there are sooo many people in denial of the TRUTH & hope's you'll turn to HIM one day!Sad to read such blasphamy!!!

This site gives us proof as christians to be diligent in the great commission that the Lord had given us before he went back to heaven. We have to be good at sharing the word. I know that it is upsetting reading all of the posting of other people because i know that they are mocking God but they are doing this because they know that he is real. they are doing this because they are seeking God. For some reason, they have been hurt or something like that, that they want to blame God for the sins they had committed. They are in denial that God exist because they are not ready to accept the truth and they vent out in these kinds of forum against God. But in time they will realize their mistake and will turn from their wicked ways and repent. This is the hope I have for them. I actually pity them because I know where they are going...
Edit: For hopefull... I feel bad for you being a NOTHING. God created you to be something and yet you chose to be nothing. Even the realization that a house is in front of you, you still choose to deny yourself the ability to see it because you brain washed yourself that it is just an illusion and its nothing? why don't you run fast against the house and you will hear a big THUD or a big bump in your head. The house is there!!! face the fact! its real. That is soo sad, very sad to believe in NOTHING
Edit for Gorgeous... I guess you really was not paying attention in sunday school or not really reading the bible at all. The Book is not "hate filled bible" that you call it. If you read it you will find that it is because of love that God had sent his son to die for all of our sin. the book is "LOVE FILLED BIBLE" not the other way around. You missed the real message of the bible. you are still blinded by your own understanding... I will continually pray for you.
Edit for icarus: why do you believe that the wind is blowing? isn't is because you see the trees moving? the evidence was there and yet you cant see the wind it self. Same is true with God, the evidence is there. Change life is just one example, Grand design, Creating a man like you who are composed of innumerable cells working together in harmony for you to function. now that is a work of art, but you choose to simplify yourself and lower yourself than what God had intended for you. and I am sorry to know that you are truly heading the right direction for you have chosen the wide road to eternity. for me I am more than happy to walk the narrow road with my Lord

The site says RELIGION AND SPIRITUALITY (see? I can use caps too).... it does not say any single religion. Oh I definitely get what the "narrow path" is.... Christianity, right? With it's how many thousands of denominations????? 38,000 was the last count I believe. Please, don't be so condescending.... most Non-Believers know more about the Bible and Christianity than the majority of Christians do. You have to prove it's truth... anyone can state "this is Truth"... it doesn't make it so. As for insulting God? I don't mock him. I will, however, point out when someone is acting arrogant, as if Yahoo has made this place just for them and they have some kind of authority over others who post here. I will mock hypocracy. I will mock people who use their religion to justify their actions against others. If I see someone putting down other people for believing differently, I will use their own religion against them. =)
This site is open to anyone who follows the rules. If you don't like what you are reading, then I suggest NOT clicking on those things you suspect are "blasphemy"......

I am catholic and I do believe in God, but for you to believe that Jesus will return to earth puts you in denial not the none believers, we all will be judged in a spiritual world not a physical one, and there is no such a thing as blasphemy it is a man made word to protect unscrupulous religious leaders that deny all of us the truth.

Ya know, that is a rather good question, and directly to the point. By their own definition they believe in nothing, which is what Religion and Spirituality are by nature, beliefs and faith in what cannot be seen. Yet Atheists pollute this board with what can only be defined as hate speech, and THEN bash Christians for "hate speech." Seems pretty hypocritical to me.
Non-believers have no place in a believing forum. Just as a believer has no place in a non-believing forum.
Then also makes you wonder at another question. Why is it that the One, True God's name is the only one ever taken in vain or as a curse? Why do I never hear someone saying "Ah Buddha" or "Allahdammit", yet it is fine to take the name of Christ or Jehovah in vain, even though you don't believe in Him? Quite a paradox there eh?

Why because the site is not for believers only. Unless you know something we don't.
Are you SURE it is God who is insulted or is it just your own personal pride in your particular beliefs? And do you REALLY think a puny human being could actually insult an ALMIGHTY God? We are to God as microscopic beings on an elephant's behind. The elephant is no more concerned about what the bacteria on his bum are discussing amongst themselves about him (assuming bacteria communicate) than God is about our endless debate.
Stop thinking God is as insecure and in need of constant ego-massaging as YOU are about your belief in God according to your religious sect.
If you cannot handle opposing views, even disrespectful ones, then I feel sorry for you. You will always exist in a Us vs. Them world, constantly feeling angry, insulted and secretly or publically wishing for God's vengence on others who hurt your feelings. The world is a big place full of people who have different views. I am a believer in Christ and I am telling you, "Get some backbone and objectivity QUICK sister!" or you will not be able to exist in this modern world.

This is the Billion Dollar question. Everyone asks the same question but we never really get a good answer. Maybe Atheist is considered a Religion? I thought religion consisted of God...so I just don't understand either. I agree one hundred percent with everything you wrote....I just feel so bad that they can deny the existence of the God that made them.

They don't realize they are being brought here to learn about Jesus... yet they are in denial of the TRUTH. The Holy Spirit is tugging on their hearts... but they are rejecting the Holy Spirit. Just pray for them, they need it.
Not many will be following Jesus, when He comes for His bride. Actually the Word tells us many shall fall away from sound doctrine. (which they are doing as I type here) We have many turning to false gods, to false religions to justify their own sins. We have the New Age Movement, Scientology movement, along with the other false religions out there. We have many Christians converting to the Islamic terrorist movement, the jihad is here at our backdoor, yet nothing is stopping this movement.
Face it... this is a birth pang we have been told will come.

Arrogant little thing aren't you? I happen to believe in God but I don't presume to declare my personal truth to be the absolute truth. I, like you, will not know absolute truth until we die. Just because others do not believe as you do, does not mean they are any less deserving of life, happiness and whatever pursuits they wish to follow.
I strongly suggest you humble yourself and learn humility before presuming someones beliefs or views. The site is Religion and Spirituality, NOT, Christianity. You do yourself, your faith and your beliefs a disservice by being so childish and wilful.

It is blaphamy only to those who believe in a god. Many people look at the whole religion thing and see flaws in it and decide that it is not an option for them.
Now, you blaming "un-believers" for a god not coming back is a pretty scary thing. How long will it be before you decide that taking the heretics and killing burning them all will make the god happy and bring him back?

Just not the same things you believe.
Personally, I think the 2nd coming, if you want to call it that, is when individuals achieve Christ Conciousness.
It is when you and I realize our own God-hood, as it were.
