You can believe in God and not go to heaven. Satan believes in God, he even believes in Jesus, and the Holy Spirit... he just does NOT believe they are who they say they are.

The Bible tells us in many places that God the Father/Son/Holy Spirit are all one in the same. Therefore, if you believe upon the name of God/Jesus/Holy Spirit you shall enter heaven if you have lived your life accordingly.

The second you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you are baptized in the Holy Spirit... that's the ONE baptism the Bible speaks of... One God, One Faith, One Baptism.

This is why many don't understand the "triune" Godhead. It's so simple they can't understand it.

When you are truly saved, you are sealed with the Holy Spirit-- See Ephesians 1 and also see 2 Corinthians 1:21-22.
So yes, if you do not have the Holy Spirit, that means you are not saved. Because God promises His holy Spirit to those He saves.
Those who died before Christ, were taken up with Him, when He died and rose on the cross, the Bible speaks about how He descended into the lower parts of the earth ( and this was to share the gospel with those who died before He came, but who had faith in God)
Jesus says to those who believe:
John 14:26
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.

According to the apostle Paul, everyone who has accepted Jesus as their lord and savior automatically gets the gift of the Holy Spirit as a sign that they have been saved, so i do not understand your question.

If you are implying that only people who have received a certain gift, such as the gift of tongues, are allowed to enter Heaven, then you are teaching blasphemy, and you are destroying the faith of people for no reason. Paul taught that different people receive different gifts (1 Cor. 12). Peter promised that false teachers would be repaid by God with harm, for all of the harm that they have caused. Do not mess with the flock of god, or else the Shepard with judge you for misleading his sheep.

John 3:5 lest a man be born of the water and spirit he cannot enter the kingdom of God. If you don't have the holy ghost your not going to heaven. And if you not going to heaven that leaves one place for you to go.

The holy spirit is an entity that is definitely within all believers, BUT Jesus also said that if He could not judge a man by his faith, he would judge him by the content of his heart! This would mean that those who have never had the holy spirit given to believers, could also be accepted into heaven by the content of their heart. I however believe that the Holy Spirit of God is an entity that is present within all people and that we must acknowledge it to feel its presence and effect, because without faith we are blind and numb to it. Like the children who have no understanding of faith etc...they still have that Spirit within.

true in the christian belief because when you are "saved" you can go into heaven and when you are "Saved" the holy ghost is with you.
however, there are so many other religions that we will never really know the answer to that question.

Well, it makes no sense to me.

Say you got someone who spends their entire life killing people, stealing, lying etc. but they believe in the holy ghost.

On the other hand, you have someone who spends their entire life taking care of the poor and the sick, helping people to find homes and jobs, and caring for children yet they do not believe in the holy ghost.

So the murderer goes to heaven while the person who spends their life helping others goes to hell? That just makes absolutely no sense to me.

True. You cannot go to Heaven with him. Because of the Trinity. (The God, Jesus, Holy Spirit (Ghost)) is the same "person". God is God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit (Ghost), you need God completely.

you cant go to heaven without the holy ghost isnt an appropriate sentence because we (our physical bodies) wont go to heaven but ONLY the spirit returns to the one who gave it so the spirit goes to heaven is true

True.

Actually, you can't go to heaven without the holy ghost, or with the holy ghost.
Both the Holy Ghost (is his name Casper?) and Heaven are imaginary.
