Try playing with her an hour before bed to get her tired. Put her in her own bed or if you want her to sleep with you, just wear her out before bed time. ♥

This is very normal for a kittens behavior, try having a litter or 2 equaling 9 kittens doing this. I fully understand what your going through. Once they get older they will settle down a little. We have a house of 14 cats with 3 under 18 months and the remainder between 7 & 12 yrs. I find that the senior ones can bounce off the walls just like a kitten sometimes. The youngest, kitten a now fixed male 7 month old, used to attack everything that moved even in your sleep. we got him fixed and WOW what a difference. Talk to your vet about early fixing or at what age she can be fixed at, it may help cure the rambunctious behavior in the kitten. However until his was close enough to age, we had to put him in a crate at night. This was the only was way to keep my girls from being torn up every night. Now we don't lock him up any more, I've never had neutering a cat have such a drastic behavioral change in any cat and I've had over 100 pass through my doors in the last 12+ years.
As for her sleeping with you, your her security blanket and part of her family so it's natural for her to want to curl up with you like she did with her mom and siblings. Many of mine did it too, now the do it when they don't feel well and need mom's comfort or they sleep by my legs otherwise. I may wake up to a cat size puppy, a 4 yr old medium size dog, and up to 6 cats laying with me.
Good luck with your baby girl

I have a kitten and when I got him he was only 2 months old. They hate being alone I leave mine all day and he just sleeps waiting for me, when I get home he wants to cuddle but in the evening an hour or so before bed I play with him and get him tired out. I find he sleeps with me every night. But other than keeping attention on him there is not much you can do cause cats are nocternal.

The poor thing is having separation anxiety from being away from the momma cat and it's litter mates. I've gone through this several times and all you can really do is just cuddle with the kitten until she's used to the house and feels safe. Use this time to bond with the kitten. Kittens are like human babies when they first come home and need to be comforted. The phase usually passes in time.

If you don't want her sleeping with you try making her a nice soft bed, give her a stuffed animal to cuddle with and put a wind up alarm clock under the blanket. The ticking of the click will remind her of a heart beat. I don't know that you will ever stop her from climbing in the bed with you without shutting them all out of the room at night. My girls are 3 and still climb in the bed with me at night. GL to you and kitty!

you could something that has helped me with my kitties....one thing not to forget is that kittens are babies and they act like babies. Just think of a toddler or baby that napped too much in the day and wouldn't go to bed at a decent hour. If you catch the kitty napping - wake her or him up. Designate a play time and try to exaust the little tyrant beforej bed time..Good luck and it will get better with time.

Sounds like you have a little loveable kitten on your hands. You and your boyfriend are just going to have to get used to it. I had to do this with my 2 kittens. I've tried shutting them out of the bedroom, keeping them in the bathroom. You name it I tried it. I just let my little guys run free at night. They eventually calm down and fall asleep lying on me.

Let the kitten sleep in the bed. Kittens hate to be alone.

That's what kittens do. Every single one I have had did the same thing. Cats are nocturnal and are naturally more active at night.
