i don't know. I never thought about it, but this is a good question. You lose weight when you crap by expelling extra waste, but burning calories? Hmm...gotta star ya and find out myself later. And yes..you are burning calories..because your body burns calories by sleeping.. and doing anything at all. A pound of muscle burns 50 calories at rest...imagine your body's spinkter working..that's extra calories burned!!

You do not lose calories when you take a crap. You lose waste. If you sit and push for a long, long time, you might spend 15 or 20 calories. Not much, considering it takes 3,500 calories to make a pound. If you mean how much do your feces weigh, then weigh yourself before and after you take a crap. Of course, you don't have the same amount of crap every time so you would have to keep track and then average your crap weights over time.

Basically, every time you pee or take a crap, you lose about 50 or 100 calories, depending on your metabolism. How the hell is this considered a diet when all the weight lost is by going to the bathroom.

I don't think that you actually lose any "calories" when you crap. Calories are units of energy that your body either uses or stores in fat cells. The waste product that your body is getting ride of doesn't really contain much at all unless you didn't digest any of the food that you consumed.

Calories are entered into the body through food/ fuel and burned by activity, not elimination. So, poopin' isn't getting calories out of your body other than if you're really exerting yourself, you may burn a couple of calories--and you shouldn't exert yourself like that because it will lead to hemorrhoids, which you don't want!

None because you are still full of BS. ;)
Since what you are eliminating is roughage that isn't used by the body anyway, along with water, you are not losing any calories. I know.. bum deal.

Not much at all. You're just losing your body's waste. I mean, if you sat and really struggled and strained yourself, you might lose a couple calories.
