Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed because of homosexuality and breaking all the commandments. So logically "Sodomy" means living a lawless or sinful life I believe.

OK, what can a person say? Years and Years of understanding of a Biblical account. Old Testament at that. All of a sudden has a new meaning. It must be that the person committing the act of "sodomy" is really being compassionate to you. That sure gives a new twist to compassion.

well, because part of "not showing proper hospitality to some guests" was to sodomize them. And we're not talking fire island sort of sodomy, more like cell block D sodomy - pwnership, domination, apparently (from what I read about it) it's a pretty common way of humiliating somebody in "the day".
It's not the inhospitability that stuck to the word, it's the method of doing so.

Who said "lack of compassion?" Bible says violence and wickedness and they chased after strange flesh which is sodomy or homosexuality. God gave a serious warning against homosexuality. We need to hear God's warning. Katrina in New Orleans and 9/11, God allowed to happen.
A part of God's protection for America has been lifted. How much more do we think we can stand?
