okay, so i have an ibook g4, an imac (the new one), and a macbook.

the problem is, that i saved a word doc, and when i opened it, i had the macro prob. also, word:mac crashed on me, so i had to force quit it, and lost all of my work.

from what i understand,a macro is a virus. i do not have an antivirus on any mac, so i had to email it to myself, because yahoo email has an antivirus. unfortunately, norton antivirus could not clean the file.

so could anybody help me? i really appreciate ur help. THNX!

Download NeoOffice. It's Office compatible and open source. It's worth it, trust me.

Since gaming is not an quandary you would cross both manner. Mac's are pleasant, however the application is high-priced. If you might have been making use of Windows, you most of the time have already got Office, of a few different home windows supported application. If you cross with Mac, you can also become purchasing greater than you bargained for. Another choice could also be making use of a Linux application distribution. There are a few advantages to doing this. Linux is loose and open supply, and has GUI interfaces like Windows and Mac. Office suite application like SUN StarOffice is loose and open supply. Linux will run at the equal Intel established hardware as Windows and Mac. In the tip the alternative is yours, but when you are looking your price range, both Windows or Linux is your excellent guess. Windows comes loose with many low finish tactics comparable to laptops which begin a $399 or much less. Happy searching!

Hello yummy_toilets,

I've never experienced any problems with Word for the Mac. There have been a few updates from Microsoft. Is this an older version of Word? Have you tried to see if you have the latest updates?

How much RAM do you have in your Macintosh? Mac OS X requires quite a bit of RAM, but a large Word file seems to really need it too. Maybe you've got too many other applications up and running at the same time. Quit those and see if things improve. Best of luck.
