It seems like once students graduate, they loose their faith in God. Why is this? Why don't we see more students in youth ministry carry on their faith in God through their college years?

their sled-esteem is very high. Individualism is what they got. God's word cannot preach them since they think it won't benefit them! They wan to live freely without being limited by any moral codes!

As student further their education, they gain knowledge of the world. Faith is at odds with Knowledge. That may be why God forbade Adam and Eve to eat from the Tree of Knowledge.

I think it's their inability to handle the freedom that is given after leaving the guidance of their parents. Also many Universities seem to really push classes offer other views and weaken their faith. Satan uses this time of transition in life to confuse people.

I'm one of those. It would irritate me and I would consider it blaphemy to fear God. ("Fear" meaning "to be afraid of").

When I got to the age of reason my soul kept telling me during prayer and meditation that God is not jealous or angry or demanding of our love. God is not a killer and there is no such thing as the "wrath of God". So, like many millions of others I abandoned the Church and set out on my own soul journey and found God myself.

There is nothing whatsoever to fear in God for He/She is pure Love. Fear is the absence of God's Love and fear is the root of all evil. Hence, my avatar

In my humble opinion, there are too many religions based on fear.
