an excellent alternative to baileys, i found, is southern mist! you should be able to buy it at your local supermarket for less than half the price of baileys! dooleys tastes too sickly and i found southern mist is the closest taste to baileys. give it a try! you'll love it!

Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend at high speed for 30 seconds. Place in a tightly sealed bottle and refrigerate.

Carolans Finest Irish Cream Liqueur is the closest alternative we have in my liquor store, and it's almost half the cost of Bailey's.

Irish Knights and Carolannes taste very similar but are a lot cheaper. You will also find most supermarkets do their own version of Baileys, but it costs less. I put it in my coffee instead of milk. It's lovely!

Amarula Cream; made from the fruit of the tropical marula tree in Africa mixed with cream. Very nice. Probably not cheaper though; it did outsell Bailey's in pubs some years back though. Available at Tesco's.
