time to call the vet. you arent likely to find advice on here that will be correct, b/c vet will have to runs some tests to find out what is wrong. just knowing that there is some swelling isnt enough info to go on.

If this has formed over a slower period of time, you might be looking a cyst. They're actually pretty common in Boxers, along with skin tags. If it's swelling rapidly, you might be looking at an allergic reactiong.

Either way, a good rule of thumb for Boxers and health - never trust them as far as you can throw 'em. Always talk to a vet. If it's grown slowly, make an appointment for sometime this week. If it's happening fast, take the Boxer in as soon as possible.

If its something that showed overnght,I would suspect a bite or sting or injury. If its something that has gotten worse over time I would say you need to let a vet have a look asap.

I would take him/her to a vet. Boxers are prone to cancer and it would be best to get it tested. Older boxers get tumors that are frequently benign and can just be lanced. Either way, get your dog to a reliable vet. You will both be happy you did.

it depends how big it is and how long its been there
if its any bigger than 2.5cm it could be cancerous
and if its been there longer than 2 weeks you should see a doctor . i have a boxer aswell they have the best nature
