Why not store them in the fridge instead of the freezer. They tend to last longer in the fridge.

Not really... they have a very high water content and quite fragile cell walls, so as the water in the cells expands as it freezes it will rupture the cell resulting in mush upon defrosting
You can freeze cooked tomatoes successfully, but as for cucumber... maybe make cucumber ice-cream?!

While neither is unedible after freezing, the textures will change. Because cucmber is primarily eaten raw, I can't see how you could freeze it and still have it taste good. Tomatoes however are perfect for sauces after freezing. They can be frozen whole (they don't even need to be wrapped) and then thawed, chopped and cooked into sauce.

You can not freeze cucumber at all but you can freeze Tomato's as long as you have cooked them before freezing as both of these items contain a lot of liquid.

I often make tomato sauces and freeze them, but the tomatos have already been cooked. I've never tried cucumber, but it doesn't sound nice!

I have never heard of cukes but tomatoes can be blanched and the skin removed and then frozen for sauces, soups etc. You can't freeze them and have a fresh one later though.

You can't freeze them because of their high water content. Unless you are planning to puree them when you defrost it.

No. Freezing destroys their structure & reduces them to mush.
