When my cat gets outside, he rolls on the pavement, is this just marking his territory?
Anyone else's cat do this? It's rather cute.

Also when my cat sees a laser pointer he makes this odd little trill, is he trying to tell me he sees something?
It's also rather adorible.

My Blackberrie used to drink out of his paw. I'm not sure why he did it, but it was very cute. He also recognized the sound of my car and would greet me when I came home. Strangely, he remembered each car's noise even when I replaced it. He was very surprised when one time my old car came back to my house (months later) and I was not in it!

My Jack likes to get my attention by mewing, then he arches his back and hops around while making a cute little purr/meow (prrrrrreow) noise before scampering away to tackle one of his toys. He also likes to greet me and my honey when we come home, he will hear us coming up the steps and wait by the door.

Kitty is just happy and maybe needs his back scratched. My cats don't go outside but like to roll on their backs on the carpet or on the bed. I think it could also be a way to get some loose fur off. My cats also do the trill thing when they get really excited about seeing a bug or a bird. Sometimes they trill at each other especially if one is trying to get the other to play. One of my cats loves laying on his back belly up like a dog and likes to look at everything upside down. Sometimes the silly cat will lay like that for 30 minutes!

My 6 month old kitten will rub his face and back on my feet when I come home from work. My 3 month old kitten will jump on my head when I am lying down. I will be nice and relaxed and the next moment it's kitty attack. LOL. My 2 little guys do too many things that I think are cute.

My cat rolls around on pavement too. I think they like the texture of it - like it is able to scratch them in a nice way.

when i let my cat out he doesn't roll on the concrete, he pees on it. then he goes to the nearest tree, climbs to the first branch, and rolls on his back on the branch until he falls out. whenever i play laser pointer with my cat, he always runs to me right after he sees the laser, runs back to it and runs back to me. he does this over and over again until hes sure i have seen this laser and then he starts playing and chasing the pointer around.

When I let mine out on the balcony they roll all over.I think it's because the pavement is cool.

Mine does that weird chirping noise whenever he sees a spider or bug on the wall, he'll sit near it and look from the bug to me and back all the time making that "chirping" sound its his way of pointing something out, and its much appreciated because i'm not a fan of spiders.
