Im having a bit of a problem, i am an 18 yr old girl who is very attracted to a 28yr old male i met over the internet, and he has made clear that this attraction is mutual. Neither of us were looking for anything more than a fun chat when we met, but now he has mentioned getting together for real and becoming serious. All of my friends think im crazy for even considering this given that i have absolutly no problem getting good guys right here at my college, but i cant seem to stop thinking about him. I know for a fact that he has not lied about the important things anyway as i have seen him on cam and therefore was able to confirm his age, apperance, occupation, etc. We just seem to click and although everything i have ever been taught goes against this, i find myself wanting nothing more than to take him up on his offer and be with him. I am very confused over what to do, so please any thoughts, ideas, or advice about what i should or shouldn't do would be greatly welcomed.

Give it a try age doesnt matter unless you both understand each other , but even though no matter how much you know about him its on internet , just make sure that you meet publicly and with well crowded place . You can know more when you meet in person about person . I have experience of meetin people online then person . Most of them were fine but some you dont even think they could be like that . So internet cant tell everything about the person .

But its all upto you , the perfect match for you could be be any where could be in college too but as you like him and feel good about him go for it . Just keep in mind make sure your safe where ever you meet . Good luck

I am not sure what you are asking? Does he want you to drop everything and be with him? That sounds out of proportion to how normal realtionships begin. Also, although this is the information age and people Internet date all the time, I would ask yourself why someone who is as interesting, nice and who you think you can trust would have to try to find a realtionship with an 18 year old girl over the Internet. I would be very wary of this.

I don't see anything wrong with it. But when he does come to meet you, make sure he is staying in his OWN hotel room, date for awhile, just take things slow. Get to know each other really well. I'm afraid that your fears might keep you from something wonderful, but I do believe you should keep your guard up alittle. When you meet him, how would it be any different than going on a blind date with someone. No one seems to have any problems with those. You've just actually talked to him before. I wish you soooo much luck and happiness.

U dont have to be with him right away..Meet him up at first..get to know each other better.Sometimes...we unknowingly act the way that we r not over the net.We can not possibly show our love..passion...anger..through the net.Hence our right colors do not actually come out.Im suggesting u should arrange a meeting..be friends..go out..and see if it clicks!and then u may decide!good luck:)

don't even bother to meet with him...of course he will be serious with you, keep in mind that you are young...you have not seen or even challenge real life yet..and you want to be with a guy much older than you..i have no problem with age difference..i am saying is that he might be playing with your feelings and maybe when you come to your senses being with a guy much older, you might play his heart also...keep in mind also, when a guy says all about his true self online..you might just fall into a trap of lies...any body can say they are rich and can buy good items..anyone can say that on web-cam....let me say this>>>>SEEING IS BELIEVING...

If you feel safe with meeting him, then do so, I mean really what do you have to lose?

But make sure you feel safe about it
