HIGHLY unlikely

California is one of the states that links in with database that shares this information. Our adjoining states (Ore., Nev. Wash, etc.. )are all linked too so you will have to do some traveling to get one.

You will also need RESIDENCY in most states. Prob. easy to come up with but in the long run if you get busted for it you will find yourself in a worse shape then are in now.

My suggestion is to Cowboy up and ride out the suspension..it sucks but it does have an end to it.

When your license is suspended in one state, it is suspended in all states. The only way to fix it is to do whatever is needed to set the suspension aside, get your previous license back, and then turn it in to your new state of residence for a new one. The same thing would apply to restrictions. If you have a license with restrictions and get a new license in a new state of residence, it will have the same restrictions.

No. There is a Federal system that reports driver-license suspension status. If you are actively suspended, you will be told to have the 'hold' cleared before applying for the new state license.

The DMV will always run what they call a DAC report before issuing a license, so if you are suspended in any state it will show up :( Try and resolve the situation and then you can get another license!

this was done a lot prior to 1990. some truckers carried a pocket full of licenses to keep the points down. a number of states would issue licenses without records checks, or surrender of current license. Now extensive records have to be searched to prove citizenship, home address and arrest record before your Real ID, i mean drivers license is issued.

No chancee, grasshopper. A suspended licence means you can't get a licence in any state or province, or in several other countries around the world. The suspension has to be dealt with in the home state. If you come to Manitoba, for instance, the agent calls your details to DVL, who goes on-line with your previous jurisdiction. If you claim to have had no previous licence, they do a search of every state and province. All states and provinces share data.

NOt without resolving the suspension issue.

Might be able to get a probationary license to drive to work depending on the situation; ask the DMV clerk.

Since the states contact each other and each of us are so well known on the computer systems, we are unable to do much of anything without being found out, seems like. All they need to do is put your name and SS number in their data bank search and--there you are, full driving history, for all to see. Downer. :-(

Everthing is now computer linked and your driving record is nationwide. You probably can't get another license unless you use an alias then if CDL with hazmat your prints will get you caught.

DMV is somewhat universal. If you say you have never had a license before you go to jail.
